Security
Built to be trusted with your stock.
Your inventory is your business. Here's how Caddy keeps it separate, controlled and on the record.
Your data stays yours
Every request is scoped to your organization, and our automated tests check that no record ever points outside it.
Scanners under your control
Paired by an admin with a one-time code. Workers sign in with a PIN, the scanner locks itself when idle, and you can revoke a device instantly.
Every write on the record
The activity log keeps who did it, on which device, in which warehouse. Refused attempts are recorded too.
Stock rules in the database
Negative or over-reserved stock is refused by the database itself, and every stock change goes into history that's only ever added to.
No double writes
A scan retried over weak Wi-Fi carries the same key, so it's applied once.
Printers connect out, never in
Printers open an encrypted connection to Caddy, each with its own token. No ports to open on your network.
Roles that match the work
Admins approve stock fixes, scrap and returns to suppliers. Everyone else does the work.
Encrypted in transit, PINs protected
Everything travels over HTTPS. PINs are hashed for sign-in and encrypted at rest, so only an admin can reveal one.
